On a windy day let's go flying
There may be no trees to rest on
There may be no clouds to ride
But we'll have our wings and the wind will be with us
That's enough for me, that's enough for me. — Yoko Ono

Thank you for taking the time to write in my guestbook. I really enjoy and appreciate all of the kind thoughts and comments.
Thanks!
- Patty

I am trying to decide if you look better as a blonde or a brunette. You look marvelous either way. I told my wife that she could fly with Sean Tucker, I would fly with you. Are you flying in Las Vegas later this year? If you are there, we'll make the trip. I have only been GA flying the last 3 years and love everything about it. Every vacation we go on now, we look to view the countyside from the air. People like you and Sean have been an inspiration, to stop talking about wanting to fly and finally doing it. If you and your crew are in the Northern California area our doors are open to you. A million thanks.

ACE! Love your new aircraft design for the original Extra 300S, I fly your 2004 extra on my flight simulator (Flight Simulator 2004: Acentury of Flight)Whic is red, gray & white. I think your 1995 version looked better than the 2004.P.S. How come you change the look of your aircraft all the time?

Patty,Believe it or not, I still remember seeing you in a show at Pt. Mugu NAS many years ago (over 15, I think). I just discovered your website today, and am looking forward to reading your book(s). Glad to see you're still out there inspiring people. I used to fly but diapers then became the priority and now it's teenagers (help!). Maybe some day I will again. Hope you can make it to the great Pacific Northwest sometime. The Blue Angels come every year - why don't you pay us a visit too?

Hi Patty,My children and I saw you at the EAA Oshkosh. Though my son was excited at all the planes, activities, and enthralled with the airshow, my daughter was, well, bored. Until you began flying and a gentleman nearby told her your name. So impressed, my daughter watched your performance and skill with great amazement! She seemed so proud to be female at that moment.Thank you for being a great role model and opening the eyes of a young child.

My husband, a pilot of many years, and I walked up to the airshow during an aerobatic performance. I said, "Wow look at that crazy guy!" (I am an operating room nurse and student pilot, about 25 hrs). My husband said, "Yeah, that crazy guy is probably a chick." I wasn't buying it because I would think one would require testosterone toxicity to try any of those maneuvers. He said that most of the best aerobatic pilots are women. Well, just after a stall and series of tumbles, every which way, my jaw in my lap, your name was announced! You changed me. My whole outlook has changed about women in aviation and what I may be able to do in my own training has changed. You are a fabulous inspiration. Thank you. Lori

Dear Patty,This year at Oshkosh was the best year I've ever had. The people I met were fantastic, the air shows were exceptional, the weather fabulous. The abbreviated show you performed on Wednesday was outstanding. I can't imagine how you do it. You've got to be awful busy in the cockpit. I'm one of those people who link music to things I do or see. The song that was playing during your performance was "I'm Red Hot". How true that is. Is that an original song written for you?I can't wait to see you perform again. Many Blessings.respectfully, Paul

Hey Patty! You serve as a continual inspiration to me. I interviewed you several years ago at Hillsboro, Oregon, talking about John Gillespie Magee, Jr. and HIGH FLIGHT. My Magee biography took a starboard turn somewhere, and now I'm setting it up as a feature film: HIGH FLIGHT - THE MOVIE! It's going to be great!I'll be giving a talk at AirVenture this year about my project... you are officially invited! I'm sure to be watching you doing your thing in the sky, "where never lark or even eagle flew." Have fun!Ray
